Situated about 50km north from Udon Thani city.The lifestyle around Ban Dung is of a farming nature including,rice,growing a wide
range of exotic vegetables and fishing, which form the basis of this local economy. The markets in Ban Dung reflects this in the produce that they sell.
The town centre of Ban Dung include Kasikorn Bank and atm machine, Many markets that sell clothes,local vegetable produce,cutlery,building materials.
Anything you need is available in Ban Dung.One of my favourite towns in North East Thailand. A bar worth visiting in Ban Dung is Eddie’s bar.
Eddie comes from Manchester and makes a great host.You can play pool here,eat local thai food or listen to music. Eddie also likes a bit of Karaoke
In the evening,and a great atmosphere is ensured.. Cities around Ban Dung include Nong Khai which is about
1 hours drive away, and Udon Thani,40 minutes.
